Dr. Edward Mills

Dr. Edward Mills has been internationally recognized for his exceptional patient care and educational contributions in surgical and prosthetic modalities. He is the Director and Senior Dentist at the Atlanta Center for Restorative Dentistry, where he provides care to private patients.

Dr. Mills is an Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology as well as the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He is a former President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Director of the Atlanta Institute for Advanced Education.

He has lectured extensively throughout the United States and abroad on diagnostic, surgical, and restorative prosthetic techniques. Dr. Mills served as Co-Director of the Medical College of Georgia’s AAID Maxi-Course for over twenty years. This program was considered one of the most comprehensive continuing education courses in the world and became a model for many other programs.

Dr. Mills also helped develop the DentalXP Online Externship Program and, along with Dr. Maurice Salama, became its Co-Director.

Additionally, he helped develop and co-direct a three-year hospital-based residency program at Emory Adventist Hospital, sponsored by Loma Linda University.

For over ten years, Dr. Mills has served as Director of the Advanced Dental Implant Studies (ADIS) Group. ADIS consists of dentists from across the United States who gather to pursue advanced training in dental implantology and regenerative procedures. The group has evolved into a clinical and intellectual think tank, inspiring high-level clinical excellence.
