Dr. Shahrokh C. Bagheri

Dr. Bagheri is a dual-degree graduate of Harvard University (DMD, cum laude, Class Marshal) and Emory University (MD). He is an internationally recognized surgeon and leader in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS).

His current and past roles include serving as Division Chief at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, holding university faculty appointments, being a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and acting as a Consultant to the American Dental Association Council on Scientific Affairs.

Dr. Bagheri is a prolific author and educator, with over 100 publications to his name—including 7 textbooks, more than 50 book chapters, and 50 peer-reviewed citations. His most renowned textbook, Clinical Review of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, is used worldwide by surgeons preparing for board certification in OMFS.

He has been featured on television and radio, and has delivered numerous lectures and seminars. A significant portion of his patients are referrals from other specialists, including surgeons as well as dental and medical practitioners. While his practice is based in the metropolitan Atlanta area, he frequently treats patients from across the United States and internationally.
